Here is a nice one at Iola. Is it real or a copy?

It's real. That's 1048. The car was acccessorized by its previous owner. The current owner has chosen to keep the car as is.

I live over by Stone Mountain, GA and have seen that one in the museum. Its been a number of years since I have seen it and had started to show its age. I don't know if anything has been done with it since. Other than that, I saw one in Reno at Harrah's. There was a nice engine display as well.

The wheels/covers on 1048 threw me off a bit. That's why I wondered if it was an original or one of the fiberglass versions.

Thanks!

I'm glad you like my visor I was thinking of putting air ride in the car dropping it to the ground and tinting the windows maybe chopping it.

Go ahead, 46 was ruined a long time ago. I wish these owners were good stewarts to the heritage and not add third brake lights and such.

Hey, we're just trying to have a little fun! I really don't think anybody would like to preserve the Tucker hertiage more than Tucker owners and people in the Tucker club. Some of our cars were modified in the past beyond our control, because of that each car has it's own interesting history and not two are exactly alike. Let's enjoy this wonderful Tucker site that gives us a wealth of knowledge of Preston Tucker and his saga. Happy Holidays to everyone including all Guests. Tuckerly, Walter
We are Walter and Nicki Ready and are very proud to be in the club and have owned #1046. The Tucker Club has been a big asset in helping us to persue our dreams.
